First Nations and Friends come and try surfing with Mudjimba Boardriders!

On Saturday 28 April 2018 at Mudjimba Beach was the Sunshine Coast’s inaugural First Nations and Friends Come and Try Surfing day.
Council would like to acknowledge Mr Brendan Wulf, Mudjimba Boardriders and the club more broadly, for their support of this event, which would not have happened without the club initiating and delivering it.

In addition, the immediate and strong support shown by our four local, first nations community organisations that sponsored the learner boards in partnership with the council, through the RAP:

Local Indigenous surfers, Raynard Tippo and Ryan Waller are keen to develop First Nations surfing on the Sunshine Coast.
